I’m, Sonia, an illustrator based in the UK.

I draw a lot of inspiration from travel, cultures and community. Growing up between cultures, as a child I read books in both English and Slovak; illustration for me became a bridge between people and places. with a passion for languages and stories, I am particularly interested in narrative illustration and enjoy children’s picture books.

My interest in community involvement and collaboration has lead me to facilitate workshops.
